I drink coffee, so the brown watercolour splashes up the handle, to me, looks like my partner didn't wash the mugs properly. Especially with there being a lot more on the bottom of the handle.The mug itself, isn't going to be a favourite. It's ribbed inside, and I don't like how that feels or sounds while I'm stirring it. That's entirely personal, but for some reason, goes through me. I also find the ridge on the handle uncomfortable. It's not centred, so I'm not entirely sure of its purpose.The hare and the maple leaf design is beautiful, though. I hope another mug shape is considered in the future.The other thing, is it's quite a wide diameter at the top. It does taper down to be more comfortable to hold, but putting an aeropress on it is just wide enough to hold it, but tips as soon as you touch it. Tea only mug, for me.

I recently purchased my second set after enjoying my first set for several years.

The mugs feature beautiful designs, are a good size and wash well by hand.

It would be fantastic if there were a used tea bag holder that matches the mugs but without a handle.

Beautiful mugs , nice and big too

This mug is of wonderful quality. It features a hare design on the outside on both the right and left hand side and also a mini hare on the inner rim with a leaf design on the inside bottom of mug. The lower half of the inside of the mug is ridged in texture. It's beautifully made with a gorgeous design. It's not a small mug nor a large, i'd say its got average to maybe just over average liquid capacity for a mug. It feels nice in the hand. It comes nicely gift boxed. Lovely bone china mug.
